Sorry for the lack of posts, photos, and online presence. We’ve been busy with the first of the year “beautiful moving weather rush” that we’ve been blessed with. Over the past month or so we’ve been able to help a lot of wonderful people begin the next chapter of their lives by moving them into their new homes. We are very grateful to have been able to help them and to have made the relationships we have made with these people.

One of our recent moves involved moving a 567 lb. Husky tool box down a steep stairway from the customers garage to their basement tool room in Bay City.

We showed up with one of our two-man crews and had a plan to use a plywood chicken ladder approach. In this case the idea was to use it as a ramp to roll down with small breaking points along the way. But after seeing how steep the stairs were and how heavy the tool box really was we decided to accept defeat with plan A and had to call an audible.

My sister and her fiancé live in Bay City so I gave my sister a call and got ahold of my future brother in law and he just so happened to be on his lunch break and he came through.

We went the old fashion way and carried it down with straps, muscle, and willpower. Once again teamwork made the dream work and faith the size of a mustard seed allowed us to move mountains. ✝️🏔️💪🏽

P.S. If you’re looking for the most quality, solid, heavy duty toolboxes I’d have to say get a husky. I don’t know much about toolbox brands but after this move I can assure you that Husky is made strong and solid. Our sore muscles and backs can testify. 💯

Another successful heavy-item move in the books here at Mountain Movers of Michigan LLC. 💪🏽🏔️

It was out with the old in with the new with this HEAVY water heater swap for a wonderful family. 440 pounds down the stairs and another 440 pounds back up the stairs. We were thanking God big time on this one for lending us the strength to muscle this bad boy up the stairs with our two man crew.
