Today you would have been 89. We miss you, we talk about you often. You would have enjoyed yesterday's bench dedication. It was just perfect. Thank you to the City of Ava, Amber Tope, Bob Spangler, and everyone who had any part of helping with this. Thank you all for loving him. As we've said before, he loved you all right back, and he never wanted to be anywhere else.

Hey all, we are looking for your stories or memories of this guy. If he did something to help you out, make you laugh, or was just kind, we'd like to hear. The town is honoring him and Harvey Gerler with benches on Main St. When they asked what made him special to the town we thought what better way to find out than to ask. Let us know.
