Honey bees are a very important part of our food production and there numbers are falling by 30% every year. This page was set up to give information on beekeeping and just how important bee really are. The other focus of this page is to inform people of who they can call if they have a honey bee problem. Some just spray them to kill them because they don't know who to call to remove them

from there property. So PLEASE call me if you have a swarm or bees living in a structure or tree at your house I will come out remove them and give them a new home. There may be a charge for jobs that are a long drive for me or for the ones that requires hours of work.

Beginning Beekeeping Course

This beginners beekeeping course will cover the basics necessary for getting started! The course will also prepare students for a possible practical beekeeping course that may be taught in the spring of 2019. This first course will be free and held every Monday evening for 6 weeks.

Spring is just around the corner and the honey bees are now in the process of building back up for the summer time. They should start swarming around the middle of April i have had one swarm call already. If you see a honey bee swarm please call me (910-596-7548) or message me. DO NOT kill these bees!!! Without the honey bee we would starve because they pollinate crops so we can eat. Fresh local honey will be available late spring. Will post availability on this page
