James Beard's Olive Oil Pickles: I honestly wasn't sure to think of these the first time I tried them, as I'm not a big fan of sweet pickles, but these hit all the right notes. Salty, sweet, and big fennel notes with a red wine and brown sugar base. $6/16oz jar
