Good news for veterans looking for a new road after military service. The U.S. House passed the Veterans’ Transition to Trucking Act, a bill designed to make it easier for veterans to enter the trucking industry.

What does it mean? If approved, the Department of Veterans Affairs could approve trucking apprenticeship programs operated by commercial trucking companies. That means eligible veterans could use their VA benefits to attend these programs and start building a career behind the wheel.

The bill now moves to the Senate, and we are keeping an eye on it!
