WOW! what a night at The Broken Spoke! Jesse Dayton Hardcharger Page and the guys held court on just another Thursday- helping Mr. and Mrs. White celebrate 50 years of business in that red, rustic old dancehall. It's an absolute honor and a privilege, to get to be a part of the history and it was evident that everyone else feels the same way- by the long line of artists waiting to get their chance to sing one for the dancers. Rosie Flores and the Rivetors, Scott H. Biram, Bruce Robison, Amy and Cathy from Folk Uke, Lucas Hudgins & the first cousins, Patricia Vonne- heck- it might be easier to list the people that were not able to be there to sing along... Dale Watson will have his turn on Saturday- be sure to stop by to congratulate and thank James and Annetta in person for making it 50 years and counting. They ain't fancy- but they are damn sure country!

The boys from Belleville - Old Salt Union- will be at Gruene Hall tonight displaying their craft for the central Texas river folk.
