We have a launch site at our location and friendly staff to help you take off, as well as a pick up loca
tion at Lake Olmstead Boat Ramp (2200 Broad St Augusta GA 30904) behind Julian Smith Casino where our staff will help you out of your kayaks, load them up on our trailers, and provide shuttle services back to the Savannah Rapids Park if needed. We also provide transportation services from the North Augusta boat ramp back to our rental site if you would prefer to kayak down part of the Savannah River, however we do not recommend this for novice paddlers. Open daily 9:00- 3:00 for reservations and 10am to 2:30pm for walkup/ day of business pending availability. LAST shuttle 5pm on week days and 5:30pm on weekends! Open by reservation only October- March. Weekend and holiday rental prices:
Single kayak- $30
Tandem kayak- $40
Shuttle- $5
Week day rental prices:
Single kayak- $25

*Note- Rentals include kayak, paddle, life jacket, whistle, and transportation of kayak back to rental site. It generally takes about 2 hours to kayak from rental site at canal to pick-up sites; however, once rented, it's yours for 4 hours. If something occurs where you cannot get kayak back to us before closing time of the day it was rented, you will be charged an over night fee of $10 if returned by 10 am the following day, otherwise you will be charged for another full day or days until kayak is returned. The historic Augusta Canal is the easiest route to go; however, we can also assist you in getting kayaks to the river above the head gates to explore around Stalling's Island or below the head gates to paddle around or down part of the beautiful Savannah River.
