✨ One Month Until We Set Sail! ✨

In just ONE month, we’ll be stepping aboard the beautiful Disney Wish and officially entering vacation mode! 🚢💙

This will be our last big summer trip before school starts, so we are soaking up every second of sunshine, family time, and Disney magic together. ☀️📚

We are counting down the days to everything this ship has to offer—from Broadway-style shows in the Walt Disney Theatre to deck parties under the stars, character meet-and-greets, and nonstop entertainment for the whole family. 🎭✨

I cannot wait for:
🎶 Incredible live shows and performances
🎥 First-run Disney movies at sea
🎉 The high-energy sail away party
🍽️ The immersive rotational dining experiences
💦 Pool days, waterslides, and relaxing on deck
🛍️ Shopping, lounges, and all the little magical details

And of course, our itinerary makes it even more special… 🌴

A Magic Kingdom snack detail you may not realize. Thinking about trying the famous Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom? Here are a few things to know:

The cart is usually open until early evening or until they sell out for the day

Orders come with TWO spring rolls

You can usually mix-and-match flavors

Cheeseburger is the regular staple flavor

The second flavor rotates and has included options like pepperoni pizza and specialty varieties

I’m sharing this because I would hate for you to be all set to have these for dinner only to find out the cart is closed for the day. So...how do cheeseburger spring rolls sound to you?

Garden Grill isn’t the only character meal when visiting EPCOT. If you’re planning a character meal on your EPCOT day, don’t forget about Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. It’s just a short walk to EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance!

At breakfast, guests can enjoy a beach-themed buffet with appearances from:

This is a FREE resort activity families love. One of the sweetest FREE activities at Walt Disney World has to be their Movies Under the Stars nightly events.

All Disney resorts host nightly outdoor Disney movie screenings where families can relax together after a busy park day. I know, I know, leaving the parks early and sacrificing precious ride time seems wasteful, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. These moments can become some of the most unexpectedly magical parts of the trip. Here’s why:

It’s a low-pressure evening activity and no lines

It’s downtime after the over-stimulation of the parks

Your room is just steps away when eyes get heavy

I encourage clients not to over-schedule every second of their vacation and this is one of the reasons. The resort you choose is part of your vacation story too, so enjoy what it has to offer...beyond the pool. Raise your hand if you make time to enjoy your resort!

This is one thing that’s changed dramatically at Disney Springs over the years. Food has become part of the entertainment and draw of Disney Springs! People don’t just “grab a snack” there anymore…

they PLAN for the snacks. And places like Gideon’s and Everglazed are a huge reason why. The experience isn’t only about eating a donut, drinking a cold brew or sharing a cookie. It’s about discovering, documenting and enjoying the often over-the-top experience. Maybe even starting new traditions.

That’s part of why Disney Springs has become such a destination on Disney vacations today instead of just a shopping area before heading to the airport.

So...are you waiting in a 45 minute line for a cookie and cold brew at Gideon’s or conveniently ONLINE ordering a donut and cold brew from Everglazed? Will I see you there?

Take it from one who knows, it’s nice to have SPACE. This year marks 20 years of family suites at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort! These completely changed the game for larger families visiting Walt Disney World. Before these, many families had to either cram into one room or pay for two separate resort rooms.

The Family Suites offer something families REALLY want:

More sleeping space

A kitchenette

TWO bathrooms

Separate bedroom space for parents

These suites are located in the preferred Calypso and Jazz sections, meaning guests are close to Melody Hall, dining, transportation, and the main resort amenities. Sometimes the “best” resort isn’t about luxury… it’s about finding the layout and functionality that actually works best for your family. That’s what I do! Who has stayed here? Team building never generated so many laughs. Have you ever rented a Surrey bike? You can at Walt Disney World at select resorts! It’s a lot of fun, BUT, let me warn you...THEY ARE A WORKOUT! Especially up hill and if one of your crew suddenly forgets how teamwork actually works.

But all kidding aside, these are the kinds of memories that make you pine to return year after year and the kids remember forever. And that’s exactly why I help my clients think beyond the rides, Lightning Lanes and dining reservations. Some of the best and most favorite memories you’ll make may happen outside of the parks.
