It’s impossible to not have fun! There’s a reason why this line is always long! Toy Story Mania is the ultimate fun family ride. It’s game night, a trip to the local fair and a walk down memory lane all in one! I promise I do support using Lightning Lane, but you’ve got to go through this fun queue at least once to see all the toys!

Slinky Dog Dash is great, but this OG Toy Story themed attraction is even more than we could have hoped to come from one of the best Pixar movie franchises around. And it’s LONG for a ride. Like around 8 minutes of fun. That may not sound like a lot of time, but for reference, Slinky is over in 2 minutes.

You’re going to want to ride this at least twice, so for this, sure, use a Lightning Lane, but also hit it early in the morning or late at night to soak up the fun of Andy’s bedroom!

It hasn’t even started yet, so let’s get to work! It’s the unofficial start of summer, but we still have a few weeks before it’s actually here. So no, it’s not too late to book a fun or relaxing vacation!

Please don’t be in such a rush here. Arguably the most detailed and authentic ride queue in all of Walt Disney World, Expedition Everest is home to more than a few Nepalese artifacts and does a brilliant job at storytelling...if you let it.

If you are drawn to EPCOT’s World Showcase for the feel of world travel, you’re treated to the same sense of geographic teleportation here in Animal Kingdom and nowhere more than this attraction. Walking through not only infuses culture, but it sets the stage for heightened ride experience. As you advance toward the loading area, you’re learning all about the mountain and the legends you’re about to traverse.

Now I’m not saying burn 45 minutes waiting in line at the height of the days’ crowd level. But what I am saying is some attraction queues are part of the ride experience. Hopping through every Lightning Lane you can is cheating yourself out of magic.

OG attractions at IOA that stand the test of time! At this point, all but one (E.T. Adventure) attraction at Universal Studios has been replaced since its opening. Not the case at Islands of Adventure! This park has several attractions that were made to stand the test of time!

If you want to celebrate Islands of Adventure’s 27th anniversary by riding the OG attractions, be sure to hit:

The Incredible Hulk

Jurassic Park River Adventure (but plan on getting soaked)

If I Ran the Zoo

Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw Falls (also plan on getting soaked)

This park continues to evolve with new and exciting lands and attractions (looking at you Hogsmeade and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure), but started out with some solid thrills that are now classics.

Is this even a contest? Hey! I don’t know if you realized this, but both Guardians of the Galaxy attractions share a birthday - today!

We’ve got Mission Breakout at Disney California Adventure Park and Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. So...I’m going to be mean and ask you to pick which one is the better experience. LOL

Hands down, Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. That coaster is the best ride in all of Disney!

I don’t know that everyone will agree with me, but I would love to hear what you all think! Are you a big fan of Cosmic Rewind or are you confused and prefer Mission Breakout? LOL Or maybe you prefer to hold the bags?

All kidding aside, both attractions have their strong points and are THRILLING! Let’s hear your choice!

This could be really fun for your whole gang! If princess and fairytales aren’t exactly your thing or even your kids’ thing, Epic Universe has something you might really like...the Monster Makeup Experience in Dark Universe! As you might guess, you can transform into your favorite monster with a little makeup!

Let me be clear, this isn’t your local festival face painting. These are trained and talented make up artists that literally transform you into classic creatures like Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein’s monster and more. It’s pretty amazing what they can do!

However, what they can’t do is prevent you from sweating, so be sure to consider the temps outside before setting your heart on this experience.

A cruise without stateroom towel animals is like a birthday party with no cake. For first time cruisers, one of the sweetest surprises can be discovering a towel animal in your Disney Cruise Line stateroom. These nightly terry friends (also usually accompanied by some chocolates) are such a fun tradition and one that Disney does better than any other cruise line.

The level of creativity whether it’s got pirate flair, wearing some of your stateroom garb or posed in silly positions is next level.

Fun fact: on some sailings you can actually take onboard classes to you how to create this fun towel origami at home.

AND you can now buy Evie onboard, an adorable towel animal plushie complete with Mickey ears to commemorate your amazing cruise vacation. Fair warning, she is often sold out but you can add your name to a list in case more stock becomes available during your sailing.

The early bird really does get the worm in Universal! Truth bomb: there are a LOT of folks who visit the Universal Orlando parks for one day trips. Local traffic can be heavy, guests coming over from Disney can be plentiful so you want to work that Early Park Admission perk that you get by staying on-property OR by buying a multi-day ticket through ME!

Crowds will be lighter early in the morning and right before closing time. If you are visiting Islands of Adventure for Early Park Admission, head straight to Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. That line will be a long one all day.

Over in Epic Universe, you will see gaggles of guests lined up to enter the Super Nintendo World portal; not you though. With your Early Park Admission, you win the race and power up your day faster.

Unless you have invested in Express Passes, your Early Park Admission will be the hero of your morning, so work that vacation magic. You can sleep when you get home!

The menu keeps growing! While all Disney Cruise Line ships offer top notch guest service and Disney magic while sailing to fun and exciting destinations, not all ships are exactly the same. There are three “classes” of Disney ships to explore:

The Magic Class includes the Disney Magic & Disney Wonder and are the OG ships that offer a more nostalgic feel. Easy to navigate, feels less crowded with classic details. Ideal for guests wanting a relaxed & cozier vibe.

The Dream Class includes the Disney Dream & Disney Fantasy which are slightly larger than the Magic class & includes the popular AquaDuck water coaster. Great for families wanting a mix of thrills & relaxing.

The Wish Class includes the Disney Wish, Treasure & Destiny and are the newest feathers in DCL’s cap. These are larger, more tech driven & heavily themed ships with a more luxury feel.
