We loved every minute of the 20 years of being Innkeepers of the Rooster Inn Bed&Breakfast. But, we are now officially retired and closed the Inn. Our guests came from 20 of the US states and as far away as China and England. Most are repeat guests for as long as 15 years, we keep in contact with most of them and consider them as dear friends. The last several years 80% of our guests were fishermen... oh the fish fry’s we use to have. So please share our closing and thanks to all for supporting, referring and sharing. Thank you Greg and Pam Findlay and of course the family that most of you got to meet.

The Inn had a facelift a few summers ago and this winter inside paint, new decor and layout. Hopefully will get new pics on the website soon. Sharing a few pics of the happenings at the Inn. Our guests Joe,Mike and Dan returned for their 3rd year for their 4 day fishing trip.
The Inn offers to fry up your catch of the day, so this is their dinner start to finish.

We are getting ready for our first guests of the season 2019. Please share with your family and friends for upcoming vacations, graduations/ open house, whatever the reason they are coming up north. All our regular fishermen have booked again this season, looking forward to meeting new.

Exciting news and happenings here in AuGres, Mi. 400,000 herring have been planted with a goal of one million. Our understanding is there hasn't been herring in the area since the 1950's. We had a chance to view and help some that were washed ashore.

Our guests Sue Thurow and Willard Verdun from Ovid , Mi.
This is Sue's 5 th visit and Willard's 4th.
They play in the Lansing Concert Band, they are out in The Man Cave this morning practicing.
Sue graduated from AuGres in ( she said never mind). Her Dad was principal at AuGres Walt Thurow.
