Travel Tips: Tulum
The best airport to fly into is Cancun. It is almost a 2 hours transfer or ride to Tulum from the Cancun airport. The ride is not bad at all, depending on what time of day you fly in, you may be able to see some sights along the way or stop at a few places before you get to Tulum.
City Highlights
Breathe it in...the salty air and the smell of sweet floral incenses...exhale slowly. You have arrived in Tulum.
The "Magic of Tulum" is the reason it has become such an extraordinary destination. Tulum has it all, healing, history, chill vibe, it's quaint and intimate, a great party scene, and gorgeous beaches. Who could ask for more??? It's a destination that you can get around on a scooter or bicycle. There is a strong military presence so you feel safe. The food is amazing and plentiful...every few steps is a restaurant, with authentic food. The environment makes you want to get out and explore. There is a tour or site for every enthusiast.
The Mayan Ruins is one of the most popular attractions in Tulum. Tulum offers one of the only Mayan forts on the water. Another popular attraction are cenotes (fresh water swimming holes). These refreshing swim spots are a must when visiting Tulum.
During our visit we rode around on scooters, explored the ruins, the beach, went snorkeling, swam with turtles and sting rays, took a boat ride to see Tulum by water, ate some amazing food (I even ate a grasshopper 🦗), we danced the night away and experienced GOD on a whole other level.
Touching Moments
The Z Experience & Teal's Takeover Tours has been nothing shy of amazing. We have seen some beautiful places in the last few months. We had some amazing experiences, and partied with the best of them. When we got to Tulum, our intentions were all about connecting with Spirit, taking our intimacy and connection with GOD to another level, deepening our connection with each other and planning out the next phase of our lives. We got that and so much more.
Tulum gave us connectivity with all things. Our room had no television, phone or computer. We were completely unplugged. Our entertainment was indulging in the culture, talking to the people, our neighbors and the locals. We meet backbackers from Germany and France and a whole family (3 generations) who came there for a spiritual experience as well. It was nice to sit out and talk with people and eat authentic, fresh food. Our journey was filled with fasting, mediation, journaling, we each had a DMT experience and a Bufo (toad) detox. We seriously did not want to leave. Tulum embrace us with open arms and showed us nothing but peace, tranquility, love, adventure, inner connectivity and an outer knowing.
Tulum helped us experience GOD, universal consciousness, love and life on a whole new level. This leg of our tour gave us everything that we were looking for. We leave with gratitude, peace, oneness, new friendships, a golden glow and a longing to get back to Tulum already. Please, please please make sure you get to this magical, authentic Mexican destination.
Tulum has forever changed who I am and I am forever grateful for it!!! Tulum showed me many ways on how to live my life in color and I am riding that color stroke all through 2022!!!
