We've worked with Alan and his team at Mr Crating (Allied Irish Moving & Crating) multiple times over the years, and there's a reason we keep coming back: there is genuinely nobody better at this in the Atlanta area. They've built export crates for our industrial equipment more than once, top quality work, properly engineered, built to survive international shipping. Most recently it was the other direction: unloading a 40ft sea container of office furniture, including antiques, shipped from the Netherlands to our new building in Stonecrest. This last job is worth telling in full, because it shows what this company is made of. Our container got caught in back-to-back rail delays, a cancelled pickup appointment and a broken crane at the rail yard, all completely outside anyone's control. The delivery date moved on us twice, sometimes with barely a day's notice. Most moving companies would have charged us for the disruption or simply given our slot away. Alan did neither. He kept his crew and loaded truck on standby, stayed reachable in the evenings to replan with me across a six-hour time difference to the Netherlands, followed the freight updates himself so he was never behind on the situation, and kept his plan standing on nothing more than "let's hope it works out", because he understood what the job meant to us. When the container finally landed, his crew was there that same morning, on time, fully equipped, as if nothing had happened. And then they delivered on the work itself: heavy export crates up to a ton handled with real skill, antique furniture treated with genuine care, and every crate opened carefully so we could reuse them, exactly as asked. Communication is direct and honest every single time, quotes are clear with no surprises, and Alan personally stays on top of everything. As someone who coordinates international logistics regularly between Europe and the US, I know how rare this combination of flexibility, professionalism and craftsmanship is. Crating, container work, or careful moving of valuable items: Alan is the only call I make, and the only one I'd recommend. We'll be back, again. Matthew van Heerden, Dübör USA
