🇺🇸🐎 **SIX MUSTANGS. ONE SKY. ONE INCREDIBLE TRIBUTE TO AMERICA.**
It wouldn’t be the **Good Neighbor Day Airshow** without our beloved warbirds—and for **America’s 250th birthday**, we wanted to do something VERY special.
So… how about **SIX North American P-51 Mustangs flying together over PDK?!** 🤩
We’re bringing together a unique formation of **four P-51 Mustangs from the American Honor Foundation, one from the Liberty Foundation, and one from CAF Airbase Georgia** for an unforgettable six-ship formation of one of the most legendary fighters ever built.
And there’s some history behind the photo we chose for this announcement. **It shows P-51 Mustangs of the famed 4th Fighter Group flying in tight formation during es**rt operations over Europe during WWII.** The 4th Fighter Group would go on to become one of the **highest-scoring fighter groups of the U.S. Eighth Air Force**—a powerful reminder of the history represented by the Mustangs we’ll see over PDK.
The unmistakable sound of **six Rolls-Royce Merlin engines**. Six Mustangs in formation. Right over Atlanta.
The P-51 helped es**rt American bombers deep into enemy territory and became one of the most recognizable symbols of American airpower. More than 80 years later, seeing one Mustang fly is special.
