REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
*CDL CLASS A
*1 YEAR DRIVING OTR
*CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
*FLATBED EXPERIENCE
*WILLING TO STAY ON ROAD 2-3 WEEKS
OR MORE
Responsibilities:
*Transport finished goods and raw
materials over land to and from
manufacturing plants or retail and
distribution centers
*Be able to handle the pressure of being
on schedule
*Be comfortable driving for extended
periods of time
*Be available for a full-time schedule,
including weekends and holidays
*Know how to use GPS navigation
*Be able to deal with difficult situations
such as bad weather and road closures
*Be able to secure loads with proper
safety equipment
*Comply with truck driving rules and
regulations (size, weight, route
designations, parking and break periods)
as well as with company policies and
procedures
*Collect and verify delivery instructions
*Report defects, accidents or violations
*Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and
safety issues and perform preventative
maintenance
