1️⃣ 🗂️: Preparation is the groundwork of success. Every move I make in business is based on meticulous planning and groundwork. In my experience, deep market research, insightful competitor analysis, and most importantly, an understanding of our customers' needs have been the bedrock of our strategic planning. Ensuring we have the right team, resources, and a robust plan has been critical in navigating the dynamic business landscape and seizing opportunities as they arise.

2️⃣ ⏳: Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was our business! Patience has been a key virtue in my journey. It's essential to remember that creating a profitable and sustainable business takes time. We had our fair share of setbacks, but we understood that success wouldn't come overnight. We remained patient, took time to learn from our failures, and understood that every step - forward or backward - was a part of our growth.

Today, we commemorate , also known as Freedom Day - a day etched in history as a symbol of liberation, tenacity, and transformation.

40AAM Freight Solutions proudly African American and woman-owned, recognizes the immense significance of this day. On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, the news of freedom finally reached the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas. This marked the beginning of a long, ongoing journey towards true freedom and equality.

As we reflect on our history, we pay homage to those brave souls who endured the hardships of slavery and fought valiantly for liberation. They set the wheels of change in motion, forming the bedrock of our resilience and inspiring generations to break chains, literal and metaphorical.

Being in the freight industry, we know that movement is more than just physical—it represents progress, growth, and opportunity. Here's a little insider scoop from my days juggling between brokering and dispatching trucks, and trust me, this is some high-quality, organic, farm-to-table, gluten-free wisdom:

Brokers can find a needle in a haystack, or in our case, the perfect carrier in a sea of trucks. Now THAT's talent.

You think decoding the Da Vinci Code is hard? Try untangling the mess of shipping regulations! Brokers do it daily... and without Tom Hanks's help.🤣

Ever tried coordinating a 5-year-old's birthday party? Now imagine that, but with dozens of shippers and carriers, millions of dollars, and strict deadlines. Yup, that's another day at the 'broker' office.

Can you pivot like a ballet dancer on a moving freight train? Brokers can, they adapt faster than a chameleon on a rainbow.🩰🌈

Risk Mitigation – it's like having a superhero sidekick who takes care of all the baddies (risks) while you (the shipper) take all the glory of delivering goods on time!
