It’s Monday.

If you’re running a dry van, re**er, or flatbed,
you should already know what your week looks like.

Not guessing.
Not refreshing load boards.
Not scrambling.

Just moving.

A lot of owner-operators start the week busy…
but not planned.

There’s a difference.

I make sure my drivers start Monday with a direction, not a question.

How’s your week looking so far?

It’s Sunday.

You’re supposed to be off the clock…
but if you’re like most owner-operators, your mind is already on next week.

What loads am I going to find?

Where am I heading next?

Am I going to have a strong week… or just stay busy?

That back-and-forth doesn’t really shut off.
And that’s the part people don’t talk about.

Even on your “off day,”
you’re still planning, searching, refreshing load boards…
trying to piece together a solid week before it even starts.

That’s where having the right dispatcher changes everything.

So instead of spending your Sunday stressing about what’s next…
you already have a plan in place.

Loads lined up.
Routes thought out.
A strategy for the week ahead.

So when Monday comes, you’re not scrambling… you’re moving.

I help owner-operators take that pressure off their plate
so they can actually have an off day.

If you’re already thinking about next week… we should talk.

What’s your week usually looking like heading into Monday?

Not all lanes pay the same…
and it’s not random.

A lot of owner-operators think it comes down to luck or just “what’s available” that day.

But there’s actually a reason behind it.

Take a state like Texas for example.
There’s consistently a high volume of freight moving in and out… which can be a good thing.

But here’s the flip side:
Because there’s so much activity, there are also a lot of trucks competing for those same loads.

So, depending on where you’re positioned and how you move,
you can either do really well… or end up taking lower rates just to stay moving.

Some lanes pay more because:
• There’s higher demand than available trucks
• Fewer drivers want to run that route
• It’s harder to reload coming back

And some lanes consistently pay less because:
• They’re oversaturated
• Too many trucks, not enough strong-paying freight
• Everyone is chasing the same “popular” routes

So, if you’re running the same lanes over and over and the numbers aren’t adding up…
it might not be the work.

It might be positioning.

A big part of maximizing your week isn’t just finding loads,
it’s knowing:
👉 where to go
👉 when to go there
👉 and how to set yourself up for the next move

That’s how you avoid getting stuck working hard without seeing it in your numbers.

What lanes have you been running lately?

Ever have one of those weeks where you’re running nonstop…

but the numbers still don’t feel right?

You drove the miles.
Took the loads.
Stayed moving.

But after fuel, time, and everything in between…
it’s like you worked harder than you earned.

That’s the part a lot of people don’t talk about.

Being busy doesn’t always mean being profitable.

A lot of owner-operators are out here grinding,
but without a real plan behind the loads…
it turns into chasing instead of building.

• Taking what’s available instead of what makes sense
• Not planning the next move ahead of time
• Losing money in the gaps between loads

That’s where things start slipping.

I focus on helping owner-operators move with a strategy, not just stay moving.

Because the goal isn’t to run harder…
it’s to run smarter and actually see it in your numbers.

Fuel prices change everything.

But most owner-operators aren’t using that to their advantage when it comes to rates.

When diesel goes up, your cost per mile goes up.
But if you’re just accepting loads without factoring that in… you’re the one absorbing the hit.

This is where experience matters.

A good dispatcher isn’t just finding loads, they’re:
• Watching fuel trends
• Understanding current lane demand
• Using that information to negotiate better rates

Because brokers already know what fuel is doing.
The question is… are you pushing back or just accepting what’s offered?

Even small rate adjustments can make a big difference over the course of a week.

I focus on helping owner-operators stay profitable, not just busy.

Most owner-operators don’t lose money because of bad loads…
They lose it in between the loads.

Deadhead miles.
Waiting too long to book the next run.
Taking whatever’s available instead of planning ahead.

A lot of drivers are running hard but not actually maximizing their weekly gross.

One small shift I focus on when dispatching:
→ Planning the next load BEFORE the current one is done

That alone can be the difference between an average week and a strong one.

I help owner-operators stay loaded and plan smarter weeks so they’re not leaving money on the table.
