Sometimes you don’t need an adventure… you just need to REST. 🤍🌿

This season of life has been unexpectedly stressful and BUSY, and with the holiday frenzy just around the corner, we knew we needed to take advantage of fall break and slow down for a little while.

So this weekend, we traded travel plans for a peaceful lake house in Lake Park, Georgia! 🏡🌅 We stayed put the entire time, cooked all our meals at the house, enjoyed the beautiful porch and lake views, and even brought our pup along for the getaway! 🐾

No packed itinerary. No rushing from place to place. No pressure to see it all. Just time to breathe, enjoy the quiet, and recharge together.

Sometimes vacation isn’t about going somewhere new or doing something exciting. Sometimes it’s about being still long enough to remember what you need most.

We’re so thankful for this little lake house find in Lake Park, GA, and for a weekend that was exactly what we needed! ❤️

A little football, a whole lot of fun, and memories we’ll cherish for a long time! 🏈❤️

We had the BEST time experiencing a University of Georgia game 🐾 at Sanford Stadium! The atmosphere was absolutely electric, the weather turned out to be beautiful, and it was such a special day from beginning to end!

But the fun didn’t stop at the stadium! We were also treated to some wonderful family time at the lake, a boat ride, and delicious pizza. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity of those who made all of this possible. What a gift to make these memories together!

⚾️ ATLANTA BRAVES + DELTA SKY CLUB = THE TIME OF OUR LIVES! ⚾️

We have been wanting to experience Truist Park for a while, but we NEVER imagined we would get the chance to experience the Delta Sky Club! Then we happened to snag a deal on tickets… and y’all, it was worth EVERY penny!😍🙌

From the moment we walked in, we were blown away! The seats had thick, comfy cushions and an absolutely perfect view of the field. 👏⚾️

And the lounge?! INCREDIBLE! 🤯 It opens about 1½ hours before the game and is packed with perks:

💧 A giant wall of ice-cold water, Cokes, and other drinks
🍓 Fresh fruit cups
🍽️ Multiple food stations with all kinds of gourmet dishes
🥤 Soft drinks, water, b**r, and w**e included
🍿 And during the game, servers bring the food right to your seat!

We're talking peanuts, popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, soft pretzels, drinks… EVEN ICE CREAM! 🍦😂

And the best part? It’s all included with the ticket! 🙌

This was one of those experiences where we kept looking at each other thinking, “Are we really getting to do this?!” 😂

We had the absolute time of our lives, and this is definitely an experience we would love to do again someday! ⚾️❤️

🏈 Our first time experiencing Bobby Dodd Stadium! 🏟️

We headed to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech vs. Mercer football game, cheering on some of our former students and checking out a brand-new stadium along the way!

It was HOT 🔥, but we had such a fun day experiencing college football somewhere new!

And this is just the beginning… 👀 We’ll be visiting TWO more stadiums this fall! 🏈

Sometimes we have to stop and realize just how blessed we are to experience this beautiful world. 🌎✈️❤️

We’re incredibly thankful for every opportunity God has given us to travel, explore new places, experience different cultures, meet amazing people, and make memories together. From the big adventures to the unexpected moments along the way, we’re grateful for every mile, every view, and every story that becomes part of our journey. 🗺️✨

Travel has a way of reminding us just how BIG our world is—and how much there is still left to see. 🙏🏼

🇧🇦 Our Balkan Adventure Continues! Join us for Day 6 as an unexpected change of plans turns into one of our favorite days in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina! Instead of heading to Tuzla, we slow down and soak in the culture, history, and incredible food of this unforgettable city.

☕ We start the day sipping authentic Bosnian coffee, then satisfy our sweet tooth with the traditional Bosnian dessert tufahija. From there, we wander through the charming streets of Baščaršija (Old Town Sarajevo), exploring the famous Copper Alley (Kazandžiluk) where skilled artisans have been crafting beautiful handmade copper goods for centuries.

After taking in the sights and atmosphere of Old Town, we head to Sarajevo City Center for more delicious food, shopping, and a relaxing afternoon before continuing our Balkan journey.

Sometimes the best travel memories come from changing your plans, and Day 6 proved exactly that! 🇧🇦❤️
