Today, Athens-Ben Epps Airport conducted our annual Airport Emergency Plan (AEP) review. This important exercise helps ensure our plans, procedures, and partnerships are prepared to support a safe and effective response in the event of an emergency.

We are grateful to all of the emergency responders and partners who participated and shared their expertise. A special thank you to the UGA Bomb Squad for their continued partnership and support.

Today, we celebrated Jessica Turner who has been an excellent Tower Chief for AHN. She has been promoted to Quality and Safety Manager for her company, Ci2 Aviation. We congratulate her, will miss her, and wish her the very best!

AHN congratulates our air traffic control tower which was selected as ATC Facility of the Year. This is out of 25 towers within the designated southeast region. We thank the tower staff for their exceptional work and are proud of this recognition of their excellence!
