For too long now I have put my keepsake business on the back burner, only making a few special orders and not really reaching out to cross paths with those searching for a niche like this.
After having our third daughter and learning a new rhythm with four kiddos running through the house, I’m hungry to touch more hearts and reintroduce myself and this wonderful craft.
This is my third, and most likely my last, breastfeeding journey and it reminds me of why I began making keepsakes to begin with- I created Bushel and a Peck to savor these exact memories forever. To carry a piece of a journey such as this to remember it by. To feel grateful for the chance to make a memory, and hold space for the feelings it leaves behind. Maybe happiness and pride. Maybe even sadness and grief.
I hope these keepsakes does the same for the ones I have had, and will hopefully soon have, the honor to make them for.
There’s been a lot of love and loss for me in the last year. I’m sure that’s the case for most people today.
And there’s a keepsake waiting to be made for each experience. 🤍
