Unfortunately, the lift will not be happening. The test lift identified potential structural issues and they belive the plane will not survive the flight. Thanks for all the interest, and sorry to disappoint.

Test lift complete. We still don't have an exact time. Still tentative between 10 and 12 today. Could happen at anytime between now and then.

Hello and good day to all. We here at KAST wanted to let everyone know we just found out that the operations on moving to Coast Guard Falcon jet has been put on hold until tomorrow. As soon as we get anymore info we will make a post. Until then, stay safe and have a pleasant day.

We at the Port of Astoria Regional Airport are happy to say. The Marines have landed and landed in style. This V-22 Osprey is the first of two different aircraft that the Marines are coming in. We will do our best to keep everyone informed of the relocation of the Coast Guard Falcon jet.
