Looking for a software engineer to own our ERP and logistics software systems. Must be proficient in UI design and Microsoft development and database platforms, and should have prior experience in a lead software development role of business-related ERP.
Responsibilities
• Reports to the Senior VP Technology
Work with technology team to develop specifications for software, systems, modules, and processes.
• Develops, maintains, enhances, and supports existing software and systems targeting Windows, Web and mobile devices
• Works with technology team to apply skills towards continuous improvement objectives and technology infrastructure
Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills, self-starter, strong self-management skills, manage multiple priorities, strong sense of ownership and results
• Expert-level understanding and background of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET development platform. Essential development components include Visual Basic, C # and Xamarin
• Expert-level understanding of Microsoft SQL database and management
• Knowledge and/or experience with third-party development libraries such as ActiveReports, Infragistics, Catalyst, Syncfusion, etc…
• Knowledge and/or experience with web application development is an advantage. HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc…
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to drive throughout Mid-Atlantic region if needed
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7/365 organization and environment
• Intrinsic desire to bring value and innovation to the organization
