The Klink Group operates over 200 top-of-the-line trucks, trailers and heavy road construction equipment. Responsibilities:
• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates for a repair or maintenance job.
• Keep logs on work and issues.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
• Communicating with drivers.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop area.

Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven experience as heavy truck / equipment mechanic.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
• Good physical condition due to requirement of lifting, lowering, push and pull of heavy objects / parts.
• High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred.

Commercial Truck Driver - Class A CDL Tanker and Hazmat
Job Description:
Klink Trucking provides trucking services to customers in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. Klink Trucking utilizes bulk tank, flatbed, and end dump trailers. Our Class A truck drivers deliver product such as liquid asphalt, limestone, topsoil, barriers, sand, and other various construction material. Our Class A truck drivers are assigned to a truck, paid hourly on a weekly basis, and home daily.
Class A driver Responsibilities:
• Truck drivers are responsible for the safe operation of equipment on public roads, construction sites and private properties in a variety of weather related travel conditions.
• A minimum of 1 year class A driving experience with a good driving record.
• Class A drivers are required to complete and verify paperwork daily.
• Class A drivers need to have a good sense of direction and have the ability to recognize potential hazards to avoid incidents.
• Our Class A drivers should be able to communicate professionally with our customers.
Class A Truck Driver Qualifications:
• Class A drivers must hold a current valid Class A Commercial Driver License.
• Class A truck driver must have a current DOT medical examination certificate.
• Class A truck driver must be able to write and speak fluent English.
• Class A Driver must be 21 years of age.
• Class A driver must be familiar with methods of securing cargo.
