Apologies for the radio silence.
Life has been coming in waves lately.

Finally got around to editing photos from my birthday trip to Castle Crags in Northern California. This place is simply magical every time and I could not have asked for a better day.

Whoa! Look at this...we are incredibly humbled to be featured by the SBC. The mentorship that I have had through the Small Business Administration has been amazing. My mentor has helped me overcome challenges and keep the proverbial ship pointed in the right direction.

It means more than words can say to have someone with such incredible business insight and wisdom to help me overcome my nerves in sharing my passion with customers. Hello friends! We finally have an update on our new website...

As some of you know, Nowhere Scenic has undergone some changes in recent months. We have shifted our business model to reach more people while being able to add new travel guides and adventures quicker.

To support this shift, we moved our website to our new host and finally have made it past some domain/technical challenges.

What an incredible day in beautiful Lava Beds National Monument chasing caves, history, and volcanic inspiration.

You might as well be on another planet. Southern Oregon and Northern California are a wanderer’s paradise. The volcanic legacy is just a big piece of the area’s history, it created the actual landscape.

I spent 6 hours exploring the park and have so much left on my list.

Keep the headlight batteries charged and hardhats ready because I’ll be back very soon!

A beautiful late afternoon hike at Applegate Lake here in Southern Oregon.

With careful planning so you're either back at the car before dark or prepared to hike through dusk, pack a headlight and spare batteries just in case.

It is worth the preparation and later start time to capture beautiful long, soft shadows inching slowly across the mountains and lake.

The Applegate Lake trail is well-maintained and is long enough to circle the whole thing, giving you the option to turn around whenever works for you.
