Welcome Aboard!
This unique page is dedicated to the memory of the original Frontier Airlines and the thousands of employees who made it one of America’s finest airlines during its 36-year tenure.
When I created this page, I wanted each airliner photograph to be given a factual itinerary whenever possible. To be able to do so, I spent several hundred dollars acquiring Frontier timetables from the 1970’s and 1980’s as well as two O.A.G.s (Official Airline Guides) from August 1974 and January 1976. I also purchased Gregory R. Stearns’ book “Frontier Airlines: A History of the Former Frontier Airlines 1950 - 1986”. The final task was to include nearly every itinerary flown by Frontier aircraft. It has been a labor of love uploading the hundreds of photos and attaching a story to each.
I welcome any of your pictures pertinent to Frontier Airlines; I post them all in an effort to make all of this page’s patrons feel that their input is welcome--it is! What is unwelcome here are statements that contradict captions that I have attached to the photographs. If you have something contrary to what I have written, then send a message to this page so that we can go over what needs to be corrected and I will happily do so.
