Construction has begun on a new shop. The basic building will be done by early August, then comes electrical, insulation and paneling.

Hey everyone, we apologize for the lack of new posts and the delay in responses to calls and emails. Over the last year or so we have been in the process of moving out of our Oso location and waiting for a new shop to be built. We hope to have it finished this spring so we can be back up and running at full capacity by summer! Thank you for your continued support!

Hey everyone! If you're looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday come see us at the Center for Wooden Boats at Cama Beach State Park 11am to 3pm where Eric will be teaching a couple students how to apply filler to canvas! If you're interested in learning about canoe restoration or construction let us know! Classes are scheduled based on interrest!

The calls and emails I have been receiving are overwhelming. Thank you for your thoughts and concerns. The slide occurred about 4 miles upstream from my shop, so all is well for my family
and me. We have been helping with slide relief when and where we can. The response from local businesses and city, county, state, and federal agencies is unbelievable – to see all of these efforts come together, along with hundreds of individuals who are helping (from physically searching through the debris, providing food and search support supplies at the site and assisting site volunteers with medical/stress relief to helping in town at shelters for the survivors), is heartwarming to witness. It’s amazing to see so many people come forward to make a difference.

Hey everyone, Sarah here. As some of you may have heard, there was a major mudslide just a couple miles down the road from Harman Canoe. Our family has been safely evacuated and our property and all the boats are so far safe from damage. Your kind thoughts to those families with lost or injured loved ones are greatly appreciated as the search and rescue efforts continue.

Hey everyone! Sarah Harman here, Eric's daughter and page administrator. Over the last few months the views on our page have really grown and we just wanted to thank you. It's always great to meet new people who love a beautiful boat. Several of you have emailed with great questions and I'd like to apologize for the delay in response. I'm still in the process of teaching my dad how to use this great resource. I've passed on the messages to him and I hope that this sudden increase of page activity will motivate him to figure out some newer technology for the sake of the wooden boat community. So thanks again for your interest and patience and never stop boating :)
