The transportation industry has a way of measuring time differently - miles, loads, customers served, and stories collected along the way.

Regardless of how we each measure it, five years with SPD is a milestone worth celebrating, and we're grateful for everything James Clark has brought to the team during that time. Thank you for your hard work and commitment over the years, James.

Five Years Strong!

Today we're recognizing Shannon for five years of outstanding service (longer if you count the time before his break)!

If you've ever seen one of our super loads, oversized hauls, or specialized shipments rolling down the highway, there's a good chance Shannon was behind the wheel. His skill, attention to detail, and commitment to safety have helped move some of our largest and most fragile freight successfully to its destination.

Thank you, Shannon, for five years of dedication and professionalism. We're grateful to have you (back) on the team!

Celebrating 26 Years of Leadership

Join us in celebrating an incredible milestone as Troy Fuller marks 26 years with SPD.

From his start as a Sales Representative to Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, and now Executive Vice President, Troy's career reflects a long-standing commitment to the people, customers, and values that have helped shape our company.

Throughout his time with SPD, Troy has played an important role in plotting our course, strengthening customer relationships, and helping our team succeed. His leadership has consistently focused on moving the company forward while supporting the people who make that success possible every day.

While many know Troy through his leadership roles, some may not know that he also spent time behind the wheel during his military service. That experience gave him a firsthand appreciation for the responsibility, professionalism, and dedication that drivers bring to their work each day, values that remain at the heart of our industry.

For 26 years, Troy has helped contribute to the story of SPD through hard work, commitment, and a genuine investment in the success of others. His impact can be seen across the organization and in the many relationships he has built throughout his career.

Please join us in congratulating Troy on 26 years of service and thanking him for his leadership and dedication.

Congratulations, Troy, on 26 remarkable years with SPD!

25 YEARS.

Let me say that again ... 25 YEARS!!!

Countless problems solved. And a whole lot of trucks kept moving.

For 25 years, Derek has been one of those people you simply count on.

When a driver has a problem, Derek gets it handled.
Payroll issue? He’s on it.
Detention problem? He’ll figure it out.
Something standing between a driver and getting the job done? Derek is probably already working on it.

Over the years, he’s worn a lot of hats around here. But no matter the role, one thing has remained constant: Derek keeps this operation moving.

There are people who do their job well.
There are people who make everyone around them better at theirs.
And then there are the rare people who become such an important part of an operation that it’s difficult to imagine the place without them.

Derek is one of those people.

25 years of experience.
25 years of solving problems.
25 years of taking care of others.
25 years of getting it done.

Derek, thank you for everything you’ve given this company and the people who depend on you every day.

Congratulations on 25 years.

Sending a big 10-4 to the professional drivers out there keeping freight moving and America running. We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re glad to share the road with you.

Stay safe out there!

Pink ribbons are great. Kicking cancer's ass is better.

Awareness alone isn't enough. Know the signs. Stay on top of screenings. Check in on your people. And support those facing the fight.

Here's to better treatments, more survivors, and eventually, putting breast cancer behind us.

A new month is rolling in. Let’s see where it takes us.

Another successful stop at the human park.

✅ Humans exercised
✅ Humans given bathroom opportunity
✅ Humans allowed to socialize
✅ Team drivers maintained visual contact at all times

Good humans. Now get back in the truck, we gotta roll!
