Barnes Automotive & Truck Service is currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technican to join our team in Arlington Heights, Illinois. We have been family owned and operated since 1986. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including automotive maintenance, service advising, oil changing, suspensions, automotive repair, and more. We also do work with custom exhausts, vintage air conditioning, custom cars, lift kits, and power brake conversions.We are a full service shop that works on all makes and models but we specialize in classic muscle vehicles. We are looking for someone with Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification, experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, and general repair. The ideal candidate will also be proficient in preventive maintenance, quality control inspection, heating ventilation & air conditioning, diagnostics, and installation.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks
Diagnose Steering, suspension and brake issues
Repair various automotive issues
Perform maintaince work on classic vehicles
Customize, modify and fabricate
