We had a bit of excitement to end the year at the field. A gentleman in a powered parachute caught the power lines at the north end of the runway. No injuries, ACFD and Evergy did a great job.

Got my first tomato of the season! And another round of zucchini with plenty more blossoms on. The tomatoes are going to be plentiful! I’m guessing the 🐝 are helping us out with that. And Mike installing the electric fence to keep the darn deer out certainly hasn’t hurt!

We burned off the field a few weeks ago. Runway was closed temporarily. Sorry Red Bi-Plane :)
