It seemed like time stopped that day. The utter horror and shock seemed impenetrable, it stole our breath and even felt as though our hearts stopped when that “mighty sucker punch came flyin’ in”. Our nation was under attack! We lost American citizens! We lost heroes! We will NEVER forget all those lost that fateful day. We will never stand down. We will not cower in fear. “American girls and American guys, we’ll always stand up and salute, we’ll always recognize when we see Old Glory flyin’, there’s a lot of men dead, so we can sleep in peace at night when we lay down our head.” We are proud Americans. We will keep on keeping on so that freedom will continue to reign in our great nation.

Be proud to be American. WE MUST NEVER FORGET.
