What a pleasure to host this husband and wife and child as they were applying at a local church for a pastoral position!

Thank you for noticing (and taking time to write) some of these details you mentioned!

Our decorating style is very intentional, it is felt throughout the house. To expand on a few things mentioned regarding our studio apartment basement:

💛 wood countertop instead of granite which emits radiation
💛 Quartz ledge instead of granite for the same reason
💛 coffee options: Chemex, pour over, French press, drip if preferred, but cannot do a Keurig because of the mold
💛 local honey and/or maple
💛 homemade kombucha in the fridge waiting for you
💛 Bamboo sheets
💛 nontoxic, linens, cleaning supplies, soaps
💛 cooking plate from ToxyFree that can be used to sauté, bake, or used as a serving dish
💛 pillow preference: firm and soft available
💛 smart fridge, which of course is not used with the smart capability enabled
💛 a few healthy snacks provided
💛 simple, exercise equipment provided such as yoga mat, bands, a few weights
💛 to take care of your inner well-being we try to create the upmost, coziest feeling possible… Ambient lighting, blankets, comfy pillows, games, reading material, tea

UPCOMING: Himalayan salt wall tiles

One thing I did compromise on since we’ve started… we didn’t used to have a microwave but provided a toaster oven instead. Our first guest said the one thing they wish we had was a microwave, Tom said I told you so. So we got one 🤷🏻‍♀️

Come check it out, for whatever reason… A little getaway, family in town and you want to be near, but yet have your distance, traveling for a wedding, sports event?

Spent the week with my daughter at a short term, rental conference, learning how we can best serve our guests!

Looking forward to how we can each implement our action items. Can’t wait to share more. Follow us for updates.

Thanks for putting this amazing conference together with such a spectacular team of people all with the same goals… how we can be the best host for our STR’s.

All set up and ready for work tomorrow!

Each spot - short time, but each is magical!

Multiple tiny adventures beat one adventure hands down.

Where do you want to go? Are you able to work remotely? We recently purchased a travelfi (capability to receive WiFi in remote areas), this is an optional add-on with the t@b rental!

It was supposed to rain today, this campsite had no openings. We showed up anyway… no rain! One spot left, waterfront!

Englewood Beach is known for its sunset sky and I can see why!

We went there a little bit later knowing we wanted to be there for the sunset, but we got there early enough to walk around the town, stop in a few shops- plenty of tiki bars and restaurants, and still make it to the beach in time to have some sunshine and then be there for the sunset.

The rip curls at the speech were mesmerizing!

The town and the beach had activity, but wasn’t overcrowded. There’s free and easy parking at the beach, you can park there all day and walk around the town, and then even go over to Sandbar Tiki restaurant after spending the day and sunset at the beach. The restaurant has live music daily, food and drinks.

Englewood Beach has a ship playground for kids, basketball, volleyball, boardwalk, restrooms. Yoga on the beach every morning at 8:30… or make up your own yoga to the sunset as we did.

Thanks Banana Bay tour company wonderful evening! We were able to watch the sun go down, the moon rise, and dolphin swimming.

The guides were friendly and educational. The tour was inexpensive and they guarantee to see dolphin activity! You hop on the boat at rum runners, so stop in before or after. You’re also right in the Cape Harbor… Often times have live music, shops, local artist gallery, tiki bars, etc. there’s free parking in the marina area. Rumrunners has a lot of activities, waterfront dining, sand, and a tiki bar.

Facebook doesn’t allow you to post with video and pictures. Hop over to Instagram, check out my highlights for Southwest Florida things to do, eateries, beaches, etc.
