**Tuesday Travel Tip ✈️**

Travel insurance is one of those things you hope you never need.

Trips can get interrupted. Flights get delayed, luggage gets lost, people get sick, and sometimes plans change for reasons completely outside your control.

The important part is understanding what your policy actually covers. Travel insurance policies are not all the same, and there can be limits, exclusions, and deadlines for purchasing certain types of coverage.

My advice: don’t wait until the last minute. Look at your options when you book your trip, read the coverage details, and ask questions if something isn’t clear.

Hopefully you never use it. If something does happen, you’ll be glad you planned ahead.

One reason I like doing these ship tours and training sailings is getting a chance to see the actual cabins, layouts and little details you don’t always pick up from a deck plan.

One of the highlights aboard Norwegian Bliss: The Choir of Man.

Great music, a pub-style setting, and a lot of audience interaction make this a really fun show.

Here’s their take on Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Under the Bridge.” Definitely worth seeing onboard.

Some places really don’t need much of a sales pitch.

Johns Hopkins Glacier was one of the highlights of my week in Glacier Bay. We spent hours in the area, getting different views as the weather and light changed. These are just a few random shots from an incredible day.

Alaska is one of those destinations where the itinerary, ship and time of year can make a big difference in the experience. If an Alaska cruise is on your list, I’m always happy to help you sort through the options and find the right fit.

This past week has been about learning, and boy did I learn.

I spent the week aboard Norwegian Bliss completing NCL’s Seminar at Sea, getting hands-on experience with the ship and learning more about what Norwegian has to offer. Along the way, I also got to experience Glacier Bay and Johns Hopkins Glacier.

This is why I do trips like this. I want to know what I’m selling. I want to experience the ships, destinations, dining, cabins, and those little details firsthand so I can thoughtfully suggest trips that actually fit my clients.

I love to travel, I love Alaska, and I enjoy sharing what I learn with others.

A week very well spent.
