W O R T H • T H E • S P L U R G E ✨
I’m not here to tell you how much you should spend at Disney. I’m here to help you spend your money on the things YOU value, skip the things you don’t, and build a trip that feels worth it for your family!✨
So, 3 Disneyland restaurants I’d happily spend my money on again:
For character dining: Storytellers Cafe
I’ve dined at Goofy’s Kitchen, Chef Mickey’s at WDW and Storytellers, and Storytellers is my pick.
Character dining can actually be a really smart use of your Disney budget, especially if your kids LOVE the characters! Instead of spending valuable park time waiting in multiple character lines, they come right to your table while you eat!
For the experience: Blue Bayou
You’re literally dining inside Pirates of the Caribbean while the boats float by. The food is good, but for me, you’re really paying for that uniquely Disney atmosphere, and I’d absolutely do it again!!
For regular dining: Lamplight Lounge
Amazing food, such a fun atmosphere and fantastic cocktails AND mocktails. This is somewhere I genuinely want to eat when I’m at Disneyland Resort, not somewhere I book just because we need food.
And yes… Club 33 is absolutely on my personal list too but there’s a pretty big asterisk: you need access through a member, so sadly it’s not somewhere I can simply book for you.
Next on MY list? Napa Rose!
The “best” Disney restaurant isn’t going to be the same for every family. If your kids lose their minds over characters, character dining could be worth every penny. If they couldn’t care less about meeting Mickey over breakfast? I’d tell you to spend that money somewhere else.
Save this for your Disneyland planning + tell me: which Disney restaurant is worth the money for YOU? 👇🏼
