Does the thought of planning a massive international trip leave you feeling completely overwhelmed? You are definitely not alone! Trying to coordinate transportation, hotels, and tours in a foreign country can be scary and stressful.
But that is exactly why I am here. My job is to handle all the heavy lifting so your only job is to show up and make incredible memories!
Check out this amazing 14-day Venice, Florence, and Rome itinerary I recently put together and booked for a family of four. Here is what their stress-free vacation looks like:
📍 VENICE
Day 1: Arrive in Venice and check into the fabulous Splendid Venice Starhotels Collezione. To kick off the trip, the family will be greeted with a welcome gift, a bottle of red wine, and a tray of homemade cookies in their room!
Day 2: Dive straight into history with a morning guided tour of St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace. I secured pre-reserved access tickets so they can skip the lines!
Day 3: A free day to get lost in the magic of Venice's winding canals and charming bridges.
Day 4: Hop on a boat for a morning excursion to the colorful islands of Burano and Murano, complete with a glass factory visit.
📍 FLORENCE
Day 5: All aboard a morning train taking them directly from Venice to Florence. They will check into the Grand Hotel Minerva and settle in with a seasonal welcome amenity.
Day 6: Soak in the Renaissance art scene with hosted, skip-the-line entrance to the famous Accademia Gallery.
Day 7: Enjoy a semi-private, guided tour of the iconic Florence Duomo with full skip-the-line access.
Day 8: A full-day private Tuscany wine tour! They will visit the medieval town of San Gimignano and indulge in an authentic Tuscan lunch with wine pairings at local Chianti wineries.
📍 ROME
Day 9: Take a smooth morning train ride from Florence down to Rome Termini Station. They'll check into the Starhotels Michelangelo Roma for the final leg of their journey.
Day 10: Marvel at masterpieces with hosted skip-the-line entry to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.
Day 11: Step back in time with a semi-private tour of the Colosseum, including special access to the Arena Floor, plus the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
Day 12: A well-deserved "dolce far niente" (the sweetness of doing nothing) day! Whether it's tossing a coin in the Trevi Fountain or shopping on Via del Corso, the day is theirs to explore.
Day 13: Their final full day in Italy ends with a true "bucket list" experience. I’ve secured a reservation at the 1-Michelin star restaurant, Aroma. They will enjoy a world-class gourmet dinner on a terrace overlooking the moonlit Colosseum. It’s the ultimate way to celebrate their last night!
Day 14: One last Italian breakfast at the hotel before heading to the airport with hearts (and suitcases) full.
From vetting premium hotels to booking every train and timed-entry tour, I take the guesswork out of travel. My clients get to simply pack their bags, grab their passports, and enjoy the magic of Italy.
