And you do! But booking early gives you a chance to secure your preferred resort and room category while they’re available.

My family is already planning ahead for our own Disney holiday trip, and we’re so excited! When you’re coordinating a trip with family, getting plans in place early can make a big difference.

And if Disney releases a promotion later? I can check whether your reservation qualifies and make adjustments if eligible and available. You don’t necessarily have to wait for a discount to start planning!

Your friend’s Walt Disney World advice might be great…for your friend. 😂

Maybe they swear by staying at a value resort because “you’re barely in the room anyway.” Maybe they rope drop every morning and think that’s the only way to do Disney. Maybe they love the dining plan because they’re all about table service meals.

And none of that is necessarily wrong! It just might not be what you want out of your vacation.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I love working with clients individually. I’m not trying to plan the vacation that worked for someone else. I want to help you plan the vacation that works for you. ✨

Because there really isn’t a one-size-fits-all way to do Disney.

And yes, it’s September. 💃🕺

Normally, you don’t know which of the six songs you’ll get until the ride starts, but today’s soundtrack is a little more predictable.

I think Disney Cruise Line gets a little unfairly labeled as a “kids cruise.” 👀🛳️

Meanwhile, I’m over here thinking about the spa, adults-only restaurants, cocktails, live music, beverage tastings, quiet pool time and a beach day.

So I’m just saying, maybe we’ve been underestimating Disney Cruise Line…

And that doesn’t mean you need to leave the kids at home! There’s plenty for adults to enjoy whether you’re traveling with kids or taking an adults-only trip.

Because sometimes you want to spend the day making memories with your kids… and sometimes you want to send them off to the kids club and go have a cocktail. 😂🥂

Both can be a great Disney cruise.

Senses Spa offers massages, facials, and more plus relaxation areas where you can actually show down for a minute.

Disney Cruise Line has adults-only dining options like Palo and Remy, offering a more elevated dining experience away from the main dining rooms.

Evening entertainment isn’t just Disney movies playing on a screen (although they do have that). The cruises feature live stage productions with elevate sets, costumes, and performances.

You’ll find live music, dancing, comedy, themed game nights and other activities throughout the evening.

Want to learn a little while you sip? Disney Cruise alone offers beverage tastings and seminars featuring w**e, b**r, spirits, and more.

Each ship has an adults-only pool area where you can grab a drink, relax, and enjoy some quiet time.

Depending on your itinerary, you can also spend some time at an adults-only beach at Disney’s private island destinations.

My favorite mornings are spent at Walt Disney World. ✨🏰

My other favorite kind of morning? Waking up and saving my clients hundreds of dollars before 8 AM.

Walt Disney World released new discounts for 2027 this morning, and before most people had finished their morning coffee, I was already checking upcoming client reservations to see who could take advantage of them.

There are a few different offers available, including:
✨ Save up to $250 per night on select 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket packages for select stays from January 3 through July 28, 2027.
✨ Save up to 25% on select Disney Resorts Collection rooms for select stays from January 3 through April 29, 2027.
✨ Disney Visa Cardmembers can save up to 30% on select stays of five nights or longer, with additional January and February weekend savings available.

One of my favorite parts of being a travel advisor is that when a new offer comes out, I’m already checking my clients’ reservations to see if I can save them money. They don’t have to wake up early, keep track of every discount Disney releases, or figure out whether a new offer applies to their trip.

A Cast Member told me churro toffee is the most popular bakery item at Disneyland Resort.

So obviously I had to try it. All in the name of research for my clients, of course. 😆

And I’m glad I did because I get why it’s so popular. It’s toffee coated in white chocolate and cinnamon sugar, and it is SO good.

Add this to your Disneyland snack list and you won’t be disappointed.

I finally stopped by the new limited time Disney Store at the Ross Park Mall! ✨🏰

When it first opened, the crowds were intense. People were driving hours to visit, so I decided to wait until the excitement settled down.

My honest take? It’s cute and it’s a nice little dose of Disney magic close to home. Would I plan a special trip just to visit? Probably not.

But if you’re already shopping at Ross Park Mall or you’re a local Disney fan, it’s definitely worth popping in to browse the merchandise, check out the themed displays, and soak up a little Disney magic between vacations.

Of course, I couldn’t leave empty-handed. I had to pick up the Pittsburgh-exclusive Mickey Mouse t-shirt! 💛🖤

A Disney opinion that might surprise you…

After you’ve experienced Happily Ever After from Main Street or in front of Cinderella Castle, consider watching from behind the castle on a future visit.

You’ll typically find more space, less waiting, and a much easier path to your next attraction once the show ends.

For first-time visitors, I still recommend the classic front-of-castle view at least once. But for repeat guests? This might be my favorite fireworks strategy.
