Fall is one of my favorite times to go to Walt Disney Word.
The brutal summer heat is gone. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is running. Epcot's Food & Wine Festival is in full swing. And the park decorations in October are some of the most beautiful Disney does all year.
For families with fall break, it lines up almost perfectly with the sweet spot of the season — lower crowds than summer or holidays so you can actually experience the park, and festive enough that it feels like a special trip.
There is still availability for fall break Disney World trips right now. If this is the year you finally do it, let me know. I'll put together a plan that fits your family.
