was founded on January 2003 with the management team that has remained the same since its inception. From our humble beginnings of only one van and one client in March 2003, we have grown into one of the leaders of non-emergency medical transportation services (NEMT) in Orange County, CA. We now have a fleet of over thirty vehicles and we intend to continue our growth and expansion to better serve
our customers. Our base office location is near the heart of Orange County’s “Orange Crush Freeways” where all the major freeways allow us to dispatch vehicles at faster response times. During our infancy, our areas of service were limited in the cities of Cerritos, Whittier, Norwalk, and Brea. While we still provide services in those cities, we have performed most of our work throughout the county of Orange since we became a prime contracted provider by CalOptima (a public health plan) in February 2005. ShuttleMED Inc. is a Medi-Cal enrolled provider by the Department of Health Care Services for NEMT services. We are experienced with the NEMT services under the Medicaid program. We are contracted providers under CalOptima Direct,ARTA Western, Noble-Mid Orange County, AMVI/Prospect Medical Group, United Care Medical Network, Family Choice Medical Group, Talbet Medical Group and Healthcare Partners. Our office staff is experienced with verifying Member's eligibility as well as insurance claim practices. We are a proud member of California Medical Transportation Association (CMTA).
