What if your weekend looked like this?
Fly nonstop from Amarillo to Houston on Friday. Have dinner somewhere amazing, stay out a little later than usual, and enjoy Friday night in the city.
Saturday morning, point the car south and head for Galveston. The Galveston Island Shrimp Festival is happening September 25–26, which means seafood, live music, The Strand, and a beach day all in one trip. Stay on the island Saturday night, wake up by the Gulf Sunday morning, then head back to Houston for the flight home.
Can you imagine? No nine-hour road trip and no wasting an entire day getting there.
Friday night in Houston.
Saturday at the beach.
Sunday back home in Amarillo.
