NOW HIRING: Maintenance Manager
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations for our fleet of dump trucks, heavy haul tractors, and equipment across multiple locations, including Ama, Baton Rouge, and Vicksburg.
This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of all fleet assets while building and managing a preventative maintenance program from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading all fleet maintenance operations
- Developing and improving preventive maintenance programs
- Supervising and training technicians and shop personnel
- Scheduling repairs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability
- Managing vendors, parts inventory, and maintenance costs
- Performing diesel diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hands-on repairs as needed
- Ensuring DOT compliance, safety standards, and accurate maintenance records
- Coordinating roadside repairs and emergency response efforts
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- ASE certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience with DOT inspections and compliance
- Fleetio or similar fleet software experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- CDL preferred
