✨ Confession from a grown woman...
When I was 16 years old, I didn't want to go to Disney.
In fact, I was pretty sure I was too old for it.
My parents practically had to drag me there.
Then I walked onto Main Street, U.S.A.
And everything changed.
The music.
The smells.
The excitement.
The feeling that, for just a little while, the outside world didn't matter.
I remember looking around and thinking, "Okay... now I get it."
What surprised me most wasn't the rides or the attractions.
It was the joy.
Pure, uncomplicated joy.
And all these years later, I still feel it every time I walk through those gates.
Maybe it's silly that a place can mean so much to an adult.
But I've learned that joy is rare, and when you find something that consistently brings it into your life, you don't apologize for it—you embrace it.
Disney reminds me to dream bigger, laugh more, and hold onto a little bit of childlike wonder.
And honestly?
The only feeling that comes close is when one of my grandchildren smiles at me. ❤️
So now I'm curious...
What's a place you never expected to love, but ended up stealing your heart?
