Location: Alsip, IL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Are you an experienced accountant with a strong background in the trucking or transportation industry? We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations
Reconcile accounts and handle monthly financial reports
Process payroll, invoicing, and fuel tax reporting
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the trucking/logistics sector
Strong knowledge of trucking-specific accounting (e.g. IFTA, freight billing, fuel expenses)
Proficiency in QuickBooks, ProTransport or similar accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
