FMCSA Kicks Off Our Roads, Our Safety Week

From June 1-5, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is having its annual safety observance dedicated to raising awareness on how to share the road safely with large trucks and buses. Throughout the week, road users will have access to practical tools, tips, and resources designed to help prevent crashes, injuries, and fatalities with large trucks and buses on America’s roads.

Today’s theme is: See Big. Drive Smart
Stay out of blind spots, never cut in front of a large truck or bus, and give them extra room to turn.

His message is clear: the trucking industry can no longer mistake minimum compliance for true competency.

As safety expectations rise and operational demands grow, stronger training standards, accountability, and professionalism are becoming essential to the future of trucking.
