Alexandria native and Holy Savior Menard graduate Nicole Collins has brought the cast and crew for her new film “Maternally Yours” to Alexandria. Most of the cast and crew members are from Louisiana, and the story about the shifting relationship between a daughter and her mother is set in Alexandria. The crew filmed Saturday at Pamela’s Bayou in a Bowl restaurant for a birthday party scene. Later that day the crew moved to the campus of LSU of Alexandria where a dorm room was used as an apartment. Other local scenes used in the filming include Tamp & Grind and City Park. The film is planned as a web series and no release date has been set.
