Founded in 1987 in Albion, Nebraska, AGI Sentinel Building Systems has grown from a one-man operation selling Quonset buildings over the telephone to a company that today is widely recognized as one of the premier providers of high quality all-steel buildings in the U.S. Known for their strong attention to detail and consultative approach in designing buildings that offer maximum functionality at
a lowest possible price, AGI Sentinel now boasts state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Still headquartered in Albion, Nebraska, AGI Sentinel prides itself on its Midwestern heritage and strong work ethic, and firmly stands behind the quality and integrity of every building they sell. AGI Sentinel buildings are designed and fabricated according to AISI and AISC specifications, and the company closely follows guidelines provided by the Metal Building Systems Manual which outlines recommended industry practices from building sales through the entire erection process. Additionally, AGI Sentinel engineers are registered professionals and our welders are AWS certified. Being a MBMA member shows AGI Sentinel’s commitment to staying on top of all industry changes and required standards. Along with the IAS accreditation and MBMA membership, AGI Sentinel is committed to sustainable development and continuous improvement in safety and health in our workplace. The Global Connection:
In June of 2000, Sentinel Building Systems was acquired by Global Industries, Inc., a worldwide producer of innovative products, specialty systems and value-added services primarily serving the agricultural industry. As one of six separate operating divisions within the Global Industries family, AGI Sentinel is able to capitalize and leverage Global’s experience, resources and distribution channels to bring products and services to market that best serve the needs of the steel-building audience. In April of 2017 Sentinel was acquired by Ag Growth International (AGI) thus changing our name to AGI Sentinel.
