‼️Worried about long TSA wait lines? Not at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport!‼️

Amidst the partial government shutdown that has been in effect since February 14th, our TSA officers are continuing to show up for work even without pay. We are so fortunate and grateful to have them in our airport.

Delta at ABY recommends arriving 9️⃣0️⃣ minutes before your departure to ensure you get checked in quickly and efficiently. ⏰ A huge difference from the 4+ hour wait times at ATL.

We have not heard word of ICE coming to ABY. From all reports, they are only being dispatched to major airports with huge wait times. As of right now, the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport remains unaffected as far as passenger wait times go. You can go ahead and book your flight. ✈️

If you’re flying with ABY, thank a TSA officer! They’re showing up for our community, as they did during the last government shutdown just 5 months ago. 🩵💚💛

A generous donation from our friends at 7 Brew Coffee in Leesburg was delivered to our TSA officers today by Ivey and Hope Bradley. 3 cases of their canned energy drinks will help keep our officers fueled and energized to help you travel safely! It really lifts their spirits to know their community supports them during this partial government shutdown while they are not being paid. THANK YOU, 7 Brew Leesburg, GA!
