In any case, Shoemaker Rigging and Transport may be the answer, we are hiring at all skill levels and pay commensurate to your level of experience.

Shoemaker Rigging & Transport, LLC is looking for experienced Riggers / Millwrights to join our hard-working, dedicated staff, as well as trainees/journeymen for the right individuals.

The below skills are desired, but not inclusive:

- Knowledge, experience and ability in rigging, ironwork and/or millwright work, as well as moving extremely heavy equipment in industrial environments;

- Knowledge, experience with lifting equipment, i.e. tow motors, cranes, etc;

- Knowledge, experience related to equipment installations, moving, plant relocations;

- Experience in trades such as boilermaker, steel fabrication, concrete, painting, piping, and/or electrical work;

- Identification of safety hazards, working in a team-oriented environment, effective communication skills;

- Mechanically-inclined, safety-oriented.

- Leadership skills desired - management is well within the reach of the right individuals.

Job Requirements: Desire 2+ years of rigging experience (or similar industry), experience operating cranes, gantries, and/or mobile cranes, willingness to travel as needed (some overseas), ability to lead projects, safely move large machinery, operate forklifts (up to 60 tons a plus), estimating project economics a plus.
