New Crosswalk Coming to Etna Elementary!
We’re excited to share that WYDOT has approved a new crosswalk directly in front of Etna Elementary, along with relocating the flashing school zone lights to improve visibility and safety for our students.
Big thanks to WYDOT, Sheriff Shane Johnson, our School Board, and the amazing parents and community members who helped bring this forward.
We hope to see the changes completed this fall (weather permitting).
Reminder: Bus stops on the west side of Hwy 89 will remain in place—riding the bus is still the safest way to get to school!

Notice About Bus Stop Activity
To help our routes run safely and efficiently, bus stops that are not used for two consecutive weeks will be marked inactive.
If your child needs to begin riding again, please call the Transportation Office to have the stop reactivated. Students who have reoccurring schedules that have two week gaps can also notify the transportation office and the stops will remain active.

Any students affected by the Willow Creek fire can ride the bus from any existing bus stop. They can scan their bus passes on and off as they would with their regular bus. Stop times and locations are posted on our website under the routes tab. Route map number two is also available showing which routes serve which areas. Routes will continue to operate on any roads that are open at the time the route is scheduled. transportation.lcsd2.org

Due to new construction on the south side of Thayne, school bus routes may experience some delays as buses work through these areas. We appreciate your patience and support as we do our best to get students home as close to their scheduled times as possible.
