LISD Special Education Transportation

Our goal is to provide safe, prompt, and efficient service for all students. The LISD Transportation Department operates a fleet of 17 school buses daily.

These buses travel a network of over 47 runs a day covering over 750 square miles, transporting over 300 students to and from school. LISD buses travel over 500,000 miles every year, which is equal to about 80 round trips between New York and Los Angeles.
