Sold the Volvo last week so got back to work on the Pete. Installed some new diffs, went from 4.10 to 3.42 which put some legs under her. New slack adjuster, headache rack, visor, mufflers, sound proofing under the hood, mud flaps, license plate hanger and a bath!! Headed east bound and down.
P.S. trucking was starting to feel like a job, I had to remind myself that I wanted to do this for fun. Today was fun again, 81’ Peterbilt = smiles per gallon!!

Last week was one of them weeks that just didn’t start off the way I had it planned out. Got down to Eugene, OR and heard an extremely loud air leak. Looked under the truck and found the front axle, driver side spring broken in two and punched a hole in the airbag. To the shop it went for spring/airbag replacement and on the market for sale. Good bye Volvo, the Seadog will not disappoint any more children with your road runner horn (beep, beep)……

Hauled the excavator back north today. Checked fuel prices and decided to wait and see why the week brings.

Another kick ass week of trucking, big shout out to Fred Thacker for keeping me rollin!! The boat in the picture was being built for the Israeli Navy. The beach shot was at Nichols Brothers on Whidbey and of course Deception Pass Bridge. Another cool project was relocating a 100’ X 480’ horse riding area that Tye Nelson disassembled.
