Outfitters We allow our visitors to come between 9am until 1pm to be put in the river. LAST PICKUP TIME will be at 5:30

After 1pm we stop putting in & are then strictly picking up & returning you to your cars.

❤️ A FAREWELL TO OUR MEL ❤️
If you’ve floated with us over the years, chances are you’ve met our Mel.

She’s helped in just about every aspect of what we do around here. She’s helped customers, worked with kids, handled the crazy days, jumped in wherever she was needed, & somehow always did it with a smile.

& when we say this girl SHOWED UP.....we mean it.
We watched her work with us while she was still in HS & playing soccer ⚽ She still showed up.

Then we watched her head off to college ❤️ & every summer, she came back to us.

College classes. A sorority. Volunteering her time. Another job AND River Adventures. Somehow, our Mel managed to juggle it all.

&& now comes the part we knew would eventually happen but really didn’t want to think about 😭😭

It’s time for us to let our Mel go out into the world.
Mel, it has been such a privilege watching you grow from that HS girl who showed up ready to work into the incredible young woman you are today.

You are hardworking. You are dependable. You are wonderful with people & kids. You have a heart for helping others, & you’ve given so much of your time to us over the years.

To wherever life takes our Mel next & whoever is lucky enough to get her........Take care of her! Because you’re getting one of the good ones.

&& we already know just how lucky you are.

Mel, it just won’t be the same without you. I am incredibly proud of you, & I will truly, truly miss having you here.

Thank you for every summer. Every crazy day. Every laugh. Every customer you helped. Every kid you made smile & every time you chose to come back & spend another season with us.

You may be leaving us but you’ll always be OUR MEL & always be welcome here

WELL......THAT’S A WRAP, FOLKS!
River Adventures is officially CLOSED for the 2026 season.

But before we go can we talk about the absolute MOOD SWINGS Mother Nature had this year?!

Beginning of the season:
🌧️ Rain 🌧️ More rain 🌧️ EVEN MORE RAIN 🌊 FLOODING.
Us: Okay… you can stop now. Mother Nature: BET. 😂

End of the season:
☀️ No rain ☀️ Still no rain ☀️ Not a DROP
Us: Okay, we take it back. PLEASE RAIN 🤣🤣

But you know what else we had LOTS of?
💦 LOTS of fun 😂 LOTS of laughs ❤️ LOTS of memories 🛟 && LOTS of amazing people spending their summer days with us!

So while Mother Nature may have been a little UNHINGED this year, we wouldn't trade the memories for anything.

Thank you to everyone who floated, laughed, made memories & supported River Adventures this season!

The tubes are tired. We're tired.
Mother Nature needs to think about what she's done.

UNTIL NEXT YEAR, RIVER! SEE Y'ALL IN 2027
&& Mother Nature next year we're asking for one small favor: JUST. A. NORMAL. AMOUNT. OF. RAIN.

YES, WE GOT SOME RAIN! 🌧️
However, River Adventures remains CLOSED at this time.

🛟 WEEKEND UPDATE:
We have NOT made a decision about this coming weekend yet. We will make that decision later this week based on river conditions & the weather.

Right now, more rain is in the forecast for the weekend, so we need to see what happens before determining whether we will open or not.

Please watch our page for the official announcement about this weekend. Until we post otherwise, we remain CLOSED.

Well, Mother Nature made the decision for us. 😭

Due to EXTREMELY LOW river levels, River Adventures will be CLOSED Friday, September 4th through Monday, September 7th.

And this picture pretty much say it all.

We promised y’all FLOATING, not a River Adventures Walk-a-Thon 🤣

We just can’t give our floaters the river experience we want you to have & since we use AIR TUBES, these river levels aren't doing our tubes any favors either!

As much as we HATE to close, this is the right call for our floaters, our tubes & our river crew

We need some RAIN!
🛟 CLOSED SEPTEMBER 4TH–7TH 🛟

We’ll keep everyone updated & hopefully Mother Nature sends us what we need to get back to floating at least a time or two anyways

We know everyone is wondering......ARE WE FLOATING THIS WEEKEND?!

Right now, we’re still deciding.
We haven’t had rain in WEEKS and the river is VERY LOW. And y’all know us, we’re an AIR TUBE kinda place 😎

We want you floating in those tubes! NOT carrying them down the river 🤣

Because with barely CURRENT & barely any water in some spots, we’re afraid our floaters may turn into TUBE WALKERS & Nobody signed up for the River Adventures Walk-a-Thon

That’s just not the River Adventures experience we want for y’all.

We’re keeping a close eye on things and trying to make the best decision for our floaters AND our tubes.

🌧️ At this point, we could REALLY use some rain!

Stay tuned for our final decision about this weekend!

Sunday August 30th
We’re floating today, but it’s still LOW & SLOW!

Same rules as yesterday:
⏰ NOON CUT-OFF!
You MUST be parked, paid & putting in by 12:00 PM!
Water is LOW, which means your float is going to take LONGER than normal. Plan accordingly, take your time & enjoy the ride!

Remember, once that 12:00 cut-off hits, we are done putting floaters on the river for the day.

🐢 THE RIVER IS LOW & SLOWWWWWW TODAY 🐢

That means a few things before you head our way:
💦 Walking WILL be needed in SOME spots
⏰ Plan on around a 4-HOUR FLOAT
🌊 There’s just not a lot of current flowing today

🚨🚨 IMPORTANT TIME CHANGE! 🚨🚨

Our CUT-OFF TIME HAS CHANGED FOR TODAY!

❌ Instead of 1:00 PM
✅ YOU MUST BE HERE, PAID & IN THE WATER BY 12:00 NOON!

Please plan accordingly & DON’T SHOW UP AT 12:00 expecting to still have time to get ready — we need you IN THE WATER BY NOON!

🔥 It’ll be HOT.
🥵 It’ll be HUMID.
💦 And remember, it feels EVEN HOTTER out on the water!

If you’re floating with us today, PLENTY of water & healthy liquids need to be at the TOP of your must-have list!

Pack MORE water than you think you’ll need. Staying hydrated makes for a much better day on the river!

Also, this is your reminder that we are people too & we are working in this heat for y'all to have a great day on the river So BE KIND TO OUR PEOPLE as I'm sure we will be dragging before the day is up.

Sunday August 2nd = Just a quick reminder that we are CLOSED today.

The river is still extremely high for tubing. While we know everyone is ready to get back on the water, your safety will always come first.
