Nick Chappell shared a post last week that turned our world upside down and took Spirals global. Yesterday we got together to thank him for the spark that ignited a boom in business.
To properly welcome Nick to the Spirals family, we named a Dog in his honor. The Thunderbird is available now! It’s a hot link with bacon, cream cheese, and jalapeños. He’s such a humble guy, he didn’t name his hot dog just for himself, he named it for his unit. It doesn’t get more wholesome than that.
On top of all of that, Nick and Scott were interviewed by USA TODAY about the impact one small gesture had on our small business . Who knew what one post could do?

One week later and we are still blown away by the support. Thank you all 🌭🍧💚🧡

Being Citizen-Soldiers it is always cool to be recognized on our jobs. CPT Jeff Seebeck is the 1245 TC Commander, who is quite passionate about being a fireman, was recognized by his employer for his promotion to Relief Driver. Today the 903rd Quartermaster Platoon of Muskogee, OK completed their Flagging and Assumption of command ceremony, officiated by LTC Darrin Fox.

From ancient times, armies throughout the world have conducted ceremonies to commemorate special occasions such as the assumption of command. The formal assumption of command affords our soldiers the opportunity to witness the formal assignment of the authority and responsibility of command in their company.

Congratulation to CPT Downen and SFC Biffel for successfully standing up this unit and preparing them for future food service operations. Your hard work and dedication have a resulted in a superior unit ready to serve our Oklahoma Army National Guard Soldiers.

Annual Training 2023 for HHC 345 CSSB is a wrap! It was a complete success from start to finish that included drivers training, crew serve weapons training, a series of maintenance operations, MDMP for the staff, coin presentation and promotions! We are very proud of our Soldiers that worked so hard and we remember the families that held things together while we were away. Thank you so much for you hard work, dedication and service. Teamwork is what we know in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. During our convoy from Fort Chaffee, AR to home station HHC 345 CSSB had a tire blow out on one of our LMTV’s and the 45th FAB assisted us in getting back on the road! HOOAH!

A Co 777 ASB performed phenomenally at the Sustainment Training Center (STC) at Camp Dodge in Des Moines, IA during Annual Training this past two weeks. It was great to see them perform their duties and exercise their company capabilities during STC.

Congratulations to SPC Childers from the 903rd Quartermater Platoon on receiving a challenge coin from 345 CSSB Commander LTC Darrin Fox. SPC Childers went above and beyond assisting in planning and preparing for the 2023 Annual Training mission to Fort Chaffee. He worked countless hours to make sure the unit was ready to provide unlimited food service support to the battalion. The 903rd has done an outstanding job this AT working out of the DFAC and the containerized kitchen perfecting their field craft. Thank you for all that you do!
