🇮🇷✨ Tehran, Iran: A City of Wonders! ✨🇮🇷

Just returned from an unforgettable trip to Tehran, and wow, what an experience it was! 🌆 From exploring the majestic Golestan Palace to crossing the breathtaking Tabiat Bridge and reaching new heights at 1,400 feet above ground at Milad Tower, every moment was filled with awe and excitement. 😱🌉

I have to admit, being up there at Milad Tower was a mix of scary and exhilarating! But the views were absolutely worth it. 🏙️ It's moments like these that remind me of the beauty and diversity of our world.

But what truly made this journey unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the Iranian people. Everywhere I went, I was greeted with open arms and genuine curiosity. It was heartwarming to connect with individuals from all walks of life, from young to old. And yes, it's true—I even met people who had never physically seen a black person before! 🤯

In the end, it's these moments of human connection and cultural exchange that make travel so enriching and fulfilling. Thank you, Tehran, for an incredible experience—I'll cherish the memories forever. 🌟💖

Thrilled to share that I've had the incredible opportunity to be part of the delegation representing Uganda at the 2nd Iran Africa Economic Cooperation Conference, scheduled from 26th to 30th April 2024 in Tehran. Organized by the Iran Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), affiliated with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade, this conference has been a platform for fostering economic ties between Iran and Africa.

Our delegation, led by the esteemed Deputy Prime Minister RT Hon Lukia Nakadama, along with Mr. Moses Okwalinga, Secretary-General of the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other high-ranking officers, engaged in various top-level meetings with our Iranian counterparts.

Discussions spanned across crucial sectors including technology and innovation, trade, oil and gas, mines, agriculture, fishery, health, and more. It's been an enlightening experience delving into these topics and exploring avenues for collaboration and growth between our nations.

Looking forward to the positive outcomes and strengthened partnerships that will emerge from this fruitful exchange. Exciting times ahead for Uganda-Iran relations!

The National Coffee Bill, 2018 was reconsidered & passed by yesterday after it was returned by H.E. President Yoweri. K. Museveni with recommendations. The new law provides for to regulate the entire coffee value chain (on-farm & off-farm). It's a big step towards reforming the sector & improving quality.
